A 2-year-old child and two women were found dead with their throats slit in Kanker Khera area here, police said today.

The deceased were identified as Kokila (47), Seema (27) and her minor son Abhay, police said.

One Sri Ram Verma(51) used to stay with her wife Kokila and son Ashish (25) in Harinagar area here. They had rented their house to two persons identified as Azad and Ajay. While Ajay was staying with his wife Seema and son Abhay, the other tenant used to stay alone, police said.

Yesterday evening when Verma returned from office he did not find his wife at home. Meanwhile, Ajay also came home and found his wife and son lying in a pool of blood with Kokila, they said.

Verma's son Ashish has alleged that few neighbours saw the other tenant, Azad moving out of the house with his two friends yesterday afternoon, when the incident is suspected to have happened as the splashes of blood on the floor had dried when the door was opened, police said.

A case has been registered against Azad who is absconding after the incident. The bodies have been sent for post mortem and police is trying to nab the accused.
