Azad may get Udhampur-Doda Seat

Union Health Minister and former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is likely to be fielded as the party candidate from the Udhampur Lok Sabha seat, state Congress chief Saif-ud-din Soz said on Wednesday.

Union Health Minister and former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is likely to be fielded as the party candidate from the Udhampur Lok Sabha seat, state Congress chief Saif-ud-din Soz said on Wednesday. He also indicated that the party might well renominate its sitting MP Madan Lal Sharma from the Jammu-Poonch seat. “Azad in all likelihood will contest from Udhampur-Doda in the state,” the JKPCC chief told reporters here.
