KOLKATA: Police has arrested the accused person believed to be the boyfriend of the woman whose body was recovered from the footpath of the posh Ripon Street area in the southern part of the city last Saturday.
Rizwanur, who was in a relationship with the woman, later identified as Soma hailing from Jorabagan area, had allegedly murdered the woman after he was forced by the lady to marry her, a senior police officer said today.
Besides Rizwanur, police arrested the Manager of the hotel, where the victim used to visit regularly and a woman employee of the hotel, in connection with their suspected links to the woman's murder.
