LUCKNOW: Immediately after BJP president Amit Shah -- while releasing the party manifesto -- blamed SP and BSP for poor state of affairs in UP, BSP chief Mayawati shot back, saying that the saffron party was trying to cheat people. "BJP has lost its right to release manifesto as it is yet to fulfill a single promise it made in its earlier manifesto released before 2014 elections," she said while addressing a press conference in Lucknow on Saturday.

She also accused BJP of being a communal party responsible for Dadri lynching and Muzaffarnagar riots. Replying to corruption charges, she said: "Before leveling corruption charges against opposition parties, the BJP should introspect how it allowed Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi to go scot free." She also pulled
up the BJP for demonetisation and'its impact on 90% people of the country'.
