Three arrested for cow slaughter

Three persons were today arrested for allegedly slaughtering a cow at Sindhawli village in Muzaffarnagar district, police said.

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Three persons were today arrested for allegedly slaughtering a cow at Sindhawli village in Muzaffarnagar district, police said.

The police have also seized 80 kg meat from their possession. They were taking it on their scooters that were intercepted on a tip-off, SHO at the Ansurpur Police Station K P Singh Chahal said.

The officer claimed that they had slaughtered a cow in a house and been booked for the same.
