Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath congratulates Ram Nath Kovind on election as President

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today congratulated Ram Nath Kovind on becoming the President of India.

"I congratulate Kovindji on becoming President of the country. It's a matter of pride for UP that he hails from this state. In his leadership, prestige of the country will be certainly held high," Adityanath said.

Due to positive thinking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP parliamentary party, "We have got such a leader who has deep rural roots."

The rural people are feeling proud of him, Yogi said and added that honour of dalits has increased after a person from their section reached the top position.

This social awareness will increase after his becoming the president, the chief minister said.
