J-K: Militants fire upon Army patrol at Shopian 

Militants fired upon an Army patrol party in south Kashmir's Shopian district late evening today, an official said.

SRINAGAR: Few terrorists fired upon a joint party of the Army and the Police on Thursday in Jammu and Kashmir, which was returning from a cordon and search operation at Shopian district's Materbugh area.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a constable was injured after terrorists opened fire upon him in the Kulgam district.

The constable, who hails from the Yamrach village, has been shifted to a nearby hospital.

His condition is said to be normal.
