Sonia Gandhi in hospital due to food poisoning, to be discharged soon

Chairman of the Board of Management of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital D S Rana said Gandhi was admitted after she suffered from food poisoning.

NEW DELHI:  Congress president Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here after food poisoning.     

Chairman of the Board of Management of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital D S Rana said Gandhi was admitted after she suffered from food poisoning.     

She is doing better now and will be discharged soon, he said.     

She was admitted to the hospital on Sunday, the hospital said.
