BALRAMPUR: A tractor-trolley overturned and fell into a water-filled ditch today, killing two toddlers on the spot and injuring 22 others, an official said.
The incident took place in the Mahrajganj police station area this morning when the victims were going for a 'mundan' ceremony, District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Misra said.
The deceased were identified as Vashu (2) and Vidyawati (3), Misra said.
The driver lost the balance while trying to save a Tata magic coming from the other direction, he said.
All the injured were rushed to a hospital, where six are in a serious condition, a police official said.
