In a tweet, Gandhi cited the report which alleged that a leading industrialist had floated a company just days before the prime minister announced the Rafale deal in France in 2015.
Congress has been targeting the government over the fighter jet deal alleging wrongdoings in it.
The government has strongly rejected the charge.
