President Ram Nath Kovind's Drass visit cancelled due to bad weather

The President was scheduled to join the 20th anniversary celebrations of Kargil victory in Drass town of Kargil district.

SRINAGAR: President Ram Nath Kovind's scheduled visit to Drass town on Friday has been cancelled due to bad weather.

The President was scheduled to join the 20th anniversary celebrations of Kargil victory in Drass town of Kargil district today.

Officials said the function to be presided over by the President, who is the supreme commander of the Armed Forces, will now be held at the Badami Bagh headquarters of the Army's 15 Corps in Srinagar city.
