New Delhi, Dec 7 (PTI) From classical performances on asunset cruise to witnessing the Harlem renaissance; from amodern retelling of Shikhandi to exploring the infiniteculinary dimensions of brinjal, Serendipity Arts festival isback with art forms in all their glory.

With a massive network of Indian and internationalartists from across 70 genres and mediums, the second editionof the festival is all set to begin on December 15 along thebanks of Mandovi river in Goa.

The uniqueness of the festival lies in the fact thatunlike other festivals, it does not focus on a single artform.

Instead it brings together seven different forms of art-- craft, music, theatre, culinary arts, visual arts andphotography, to celebrate their individual identities.

"The festival is aimed at rebuilding and reviving India'sdiverse and varied legacy of the arts," organisers said.

Curating the projects for each form of art are renownedpersonalities like Manjari Nirula (craft), Shubha Mudgal(music), Lillete Dubey (theatre), Sanjeev Bhargava (Dance)and Manu Chandra (Food) among many others.

"We have galvanized the arts to gather more momentum thanever before," Smriti Rajgarhia, Director, Serendipity ArtsFestival said.

She added that the diverse culture and internationalaudience of Goa made it the perfect destination for such alarge display of the arts.

The festival will be hosted across 11 venues which are amix of indoor and outdoor locations -- Adil Shah Palace,Captain of the Port Jetty, Bento Miguel, PWD Complex,Children's Park, Old GMC Complex, ESG, Kala Academy, DBGround, Mandovi Promenade and Santa Monica Jetty.

For the convenience of visitors, the venues have beenconnected for surface transportation, to ensure maximumaccessibility.

The eight day long festival will come to a close onDecember 22. PTI TRSTRS.
