Jamshedpur, Dec 7 (PTI) The police recovered bannedcurrency notes worth over Rs 19 lakh from Sangam Viharlocality under the jurisdiction of Sonari police station heretoday.
The banned notes were stuffed in two sacks andabandoned, said city Superintendent of Police (SP), PrabhatKumar.
Demonetised currency bills in denominations of Rs 500and Rs 1,000 were recovered, Kumar said.
