New Delhi, Dec 7 (PTI) Coriander prices slipped 2.38 percent to close at Rs 4,350 per quintal in futures trade todayas participants reduced exposure following subdued demand inspot market.

Profit-booking at existing higher levels also weighed onthe sentiment.

In futures trading at the National Commodity andDerivatives Exchange, coriander for delivery in the currentmonth declined by Rs 106, or 2.38 per cent, to close at Rs4,350 per quintal, with an open interest of 8,170 lots.

The commodity for delivery in January fell Rs 81, or 1.83per cent, to finish at Rs 4,348 per quintal, with an openinterest of 44,450 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in coriander futures tooffloading of positions by traders, taking negative leadsfrom physical markets due to tepid demand against sufficientstocks position. PTI DP SUN DPLSBT.
