Dindigul (TN), Dec 7 (PTI) Sidelined AIADMK leader TTVDhinakaran's close associate V Pugazhendi was injured whenthe car in which he was travelling hit the railings of abridge here today, police said.
Pugazhendi, a party functionary from Karnataka, was comingfrom Bengaluru when the car driver lost control of the vehiclewhich rammed into the railings of the bridge near the DistrictCollectorate.
After initial treatment at a local hospital, he wasshifted to a hospital in neighbouring Madurai, police said.
Pugazhendi has sided with Dhinakaran after the group ledby chief minister K Palaniswami revolted against him anddeposed general secretary V K Sasikala. PTI Corr/SSNVS.
