Thanjavur (TN), Dec 7 (PTI) A man and his five-year oldson were killed and his wife and daughter injured when a busknocked down the two-wheeler they were riding near here today,police said.
The tragedy struck the family from Orathanadu when thevictims were returning after attending a wedding, they said.
Manivannan (47), a farmer, and his son Nitish Kumar diedon the spot while his 43-year old wife and three-year olddaughter were injured in the mishap that occurred nearThelungankudikadu, 30 km from here.
The woman and the girl had been admitted to the governmentmedical college hospital here with head injuries, police said.
