Batala (Pb), Dec 7 (PTI) Punjab Police today claimed tohave arrested a man suspected to be working for Pakistani spyagency ISI.

On getting a secret information, station house officer ofSadar police station, Mukhtar Singh, set up a check-barriernear Purian Khurad village and arrested the accused, GurmukhSingh.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala, Inderjit SinghGhumman, told reporters that the accused had visited Pakistanwith a Sikh Jatha - religious group - where he allegedlyestablished links with the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

The accused has been charged with trying to gather vitalinformation related to the Indian Army and intended to passthem on to the ISI, the police said. PTI Cor SUNABH.
