Brussels, Dec 8 (AFP) The EU Commission said today thatBrexit talks should move on to trade talks as "sufficientprogress" had been made on the first stage covering divorceissues, following talks between British Prime Minister TheresaMay and Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker.
"The European Commission has today recommended to theEuropean Council (Article 50) to conclude that sufficientprogress has been made in the first phase of the Article 50negotiations with the United Kingdom," the commission, thebloc's executive arm, said in a statement.(AFP)AMS.
