Los Angeles, Dec 8 (PTI) Actor Sarah Paulson says at thebeginning of her career a lot of people advised her to hideher relationship with Holland Taylor.
In an interview with The Edit, Paulson, 42, said peopletold her that coming out as gay would have an adverse affecton her career.
"Early on, when people found out I was with Holland, somesaid: 'I think you have to be careful, I'm afraid it's goingto affect your career negatively.' I was like what? It neveroccurred to me at all," Paulson said.
Paulson, however, decided to mention Taylor during herEmmy win speech and say "I love you" in front of her Hollywoodpeers.
"And then I thought, why would I not? The fact that I'mhaving this thought is wrong. I am the captain of my own ship,and I've never looked to anyone see to validate that, or tellme it's okay," she told The Edit.
The actor said her love life is "the least interestingthing about me" but people find her relationship with the 74-year-old actor "fascinating and odd." PTI SHDSHD.
