New Delhi,Dec 12 (PTI) Aluminium prices softened by 0.62per cent to Rs 129.15 per kg in futures market today asspeculators reduced exposure amid sluggish demand in the spotmarket.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for deliveryin December declined by 80 paise, or 0.62 per cent, toRs 129.15 per kg in a business turnover of 2,272 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in January was tradinglower by 60 paise, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 130.05 per kg in125 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participantsowing to slackened demand from consuming industries in thephysical market mainly influenced aluminium prices at futurestrade. PTI KPS SUNSBT.
