New Delhi, Dec 14 (PTI) Larsen & Toubro (L&T) today saidit has commissioned a 225 MW power plant in Bangladesh.
"L&T has successfully commissioned and handed over thestate-of-the-art 225 MW Sikalbaha Combined Cycle Power Plantto Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) for commercialoperation," the company said in a statement.
The power plant, located near the port city of Chittagongin southeastern Bangladesh, was inaugurated on Sunday byBangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Work on the project started in April 2015 and the powerplant was partly commissioned in Open Cycle in May, it said.
