New Delhi, Dec 16 (PTI) Prices of copper and nickel roseby up to Rs 3 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market todayon emergence of stockists' buying following uptick in demandfrom consuming industries.
Traders said, stockists' buying supported by pick-up indemand from consuming industries at domestic spot market,mainly led to the rise in copper and nickel prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickelplate (4x4) went up by Rs 2 and Rs 3 to Rs 392 and Rs 760-765per kg, respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):Zinc ingot Rs 120-126, nickel plate (4x4) Rs 760-765,gun metal scrap Rs 227, bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixedscrap Rs 392, chadri deshi Rs 295.
