New Delhi, Dec 22 (PTI) Rapper Wiz Khalifa is excitedabout his maiden visit to Indian and plans to "embrace theculture" and connect with his fans here.

Khalifa, who will headline the day two of multi-genremusic festival Time Out 72 in Goa, said he wants to present astunning show.

"I'm excited to visit India. I am keeping an open mindand going to embrace the culture as soon as I land. I'mexcited to get over there and see what there is for me to do.

And then I plan on putting on an amazing show for my fans,"the rapper told PTI in an email interview.

Khalifa added, "India is huge and the fans are awesome."The "See you again" hitmaker said he has heard a lot ofgood things about the Indian music and Bollywood, but is yetto explore them.

"I have heard of Bollywood. I don't know a ton about itbut it looks amazing! I listen to every kind of music. I don'thave any favorites but I love listening to a diverseplaylist."The 30-year-old, however, has no immediate plans tocollaborate with Indian musician.

"I don't currently have any specific plans but I amalways open to working with good artistes no matter where theyare from," he said.

Khalifa, who is known for giving iconic performances withhip-hop star Snoop Dogg, said the rapper has had a hugeinfluence on his work and personal life.

"I love Snoop. I have always watched him growing up as anexample of what rap should be. And then I think when I wascoming up he was looking at me as an example of where rap isnow. So to be friends with him and make some really dope musictogether has been a dream come true," he said.

Time Out 72 will be held at Vagator in Goa from December27 to 29.

Khalifa will be joined multi-platinum recording artistJason Derulo and world number one DJ, Martin Garrix. PTI SHDBK.
