New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake pricesstrengthened by Rs 14 to Rs 1,566 per quintal in futures tradetoday as traders enlarged positions in line with a firmingtrend at the spot markets on an uptick in demand.
Marketmen said expanding of positions by participants,driven by a firm trends t the physical markets following aspurt in demand from animal feed makers, mainly influencedcottonseed oil cake prices at futures trade here.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchangecounter, cottonseed oil cake for delivery January improved byRs 14 or 0.90 per cent to Rs 1,566 per quintal, clocking anopen interest of 22,670 lots.
Also, the delivery of most-traded December rose by Rs 13or 0.84 per cent to Rs 1,553 per quintal, having open interestof 78,660 lots. PTI SDG SUN ADIMKJ.
