New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) The wholesale gur (jaggery)market settled quiet in the national capital today with pricesafter moving both sides on small bouts of buying and selling,ended at last levels.

On the other hand, Muzaffarnagar markets, gur showed adrop of Rs 50 per quintal in its prices on fresh supplies amidweak demand.

Marketmen said fresh arrivals from manufacturing beltamid sluggish demand from stockists and retailers mainly ledto fall in gur prices at Muzaffarnagar.

In Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku and Laddoo prices fell by Rs50 each to settle at Rs 2,500-2,900 and Rs 2,800-2,850 perquintal.

Gur Raskat prices also moved down by Rs 50 to finish atRs 2,400-2,450 per quintal due to a drop in demand for beermakers.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):Gur chakku Rs 2,900-3,000, pedi Rs 3,100-3,200, dhayyaRs 3,200-3,300 and shakkar Rs 3,500-3,600.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,400-2,450, chakku Rs 2,500-2,900, khurpa Rs 2,650-2,750 and Ladoo Rs 2,800-2,850.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,900-2950 and dhayya Rs 2,950-3,000.
