New Delhi, Nov 15 (PTI) Guar gum prices increased by Rs39 to Rs 8,340 per quintal in futures trading today asspeculators increased exposure, tracking a firm trend at thephysical market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange,guar gum for December delivery hardened by Rs 39, or 0.47 percent, to Rs 8,340 per quintal, showing an open interest of66,200 lots.
In a similar fashion, guar gum for delivery this monthlooked up by Rs 22, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 8,235 per quintal,having an open interest of 1,475 lots.
Marketmen said, raising of bets by participants followinga firm trend at the spot markets due to short supplies of guarseed against mounting demand, supported the upside in guar gumprices in futures trade. PTI SDG SUNSBT.
