Muzaffarnagar, Oct 13 (PTI) A woman had to deliver herbaby outside a government-run health centre after its staffallegedly demanded money to admit her at the centre at Moranvillage in Muzaffarnagar district, her husband said.
Seema was brought by her husband Vipin Kumar yesterday tothe health centre after she complained of labour pain.
According to Kumar, the centre's staff demanded money toadmit her, failing which his wife had to give birth to thebaby at the door of the healthcare unit.
The victim has demanded that action be taken against thestaff.
Azad Vir, in-charge of the health centre, has assured herof strict action against those responsible for the episode.
