New Delhi, Oct 13 (PTI) Freight rates for the nine-tonnepayload section for select destinations rose by Rs 500 at thelocal trucks transport market in the national capital todayfollowing pick-up in cargo movements against tightavailability of trucks.
Transporters said besides pick up in cargo movements,tight availability of trucks mainly led to the rise in selectfreight rates.
Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh, Gwalior and Kanpur wereup by Rs 500 each to Rs 17,500, Rs 19,500, Rs 14,500 and Rs20,500, respectively.
