Mumbai, Oct 13 (PTI) Groundnut oil prices surged in anotherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale markethere today on sustained demand from stockists and retailersamid festive offtake.
While, refined palmolein, castorseeds bold, castoroilcommercial and linseed oil ruled steady in absence of anylarge-scale buying activities.
In the edible section, groundnut oil rose by Rs 10 per10 kg to Rs 890 from Thursday's close Rs 880 and refinedpalmolein ended unaltered to Rs 595 per 10 kg.
Moving the non-edible section, castorseed bold, castoroilcommercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 4,715 per100 kg, Rs 973 per 10 kg and Rs 750 per 10 kg, respectively.
