New Delhi, Oct 13 (PTI) There was not much activity atthe wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capitaltoday as prices by and large moved in a narrow range inscattered deals and pegged at the last levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also showed asimilar trend for want of support from stockists.
Marketmen said adequate stocks and restricted buyingactivity mainly kept gur prices unaltered.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):Gur chakku Rs 3,800-3,900, pedi Rs 3,800-3,900, dhayyaRs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,700-2,750, chakkuRs 3,800-3,950, khurpa Rs 3,500-3,550 and Ladoo Rs 3,800-3,850.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,500-3,600 and dhayya Rs 3,600-3,650. PTI KPS SUNSBT.
