CAL4 DARJEELING-LD-CLASHES Darjeeling: A sub-inspector was shot dead and four policemen were injured in clashes between the police and alleged supporters of Gorkha leader Bimal Gurung after security forces raided a forest area near Darjeeling where he was suspected to be hiding.

CAL6 WB-DARJEELING CLASH LINKS Kolkata: West Bengal police today said Gorkha Janmukti Morcha supremo Bimal Gurung has links with Maoists and insurgent groups in the North East and had procured sophisticated arms from them.
