Giridih (Jharkhand), Oct 13 (PTI) Large quantity offire crackers stored illegally in five godowns were seizedfrom different areas in Giridih district today, officialsources said.
A raid was conducted in different areas includingMuslim Bazar, Laxmi Mohalla on the directive of the DeputyCommissioner of Giridih, Uma Shankar Singh.
Large quantity of fire crackers illegally stored inresidential areas were seized and two godowns have beensealed, the sources said.
The sources said the officials have seized firecrackers in large quantity from the house of one Putul Mian,who has stored them illegally in two houses situated in theresidential area. PTI COR BSRG.
