New Delhi, Oct 13 (PTI) Menthol prices were down by Rs 5per kg at the wholesale chemical market in the nationalcapital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amidadequate stocks.
Also, increased arrivals from producing regions in UttarPradesh weighed on the menthol prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices easedby Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 1,205, Rs 1,185 and Rs 1,375per kg, respectively.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industriesagainst increased arrivals from producing regions mainlypulled down menthol prices.
