Mandsaur (MP), Oct 13 (PTI) One person was killed and40 others injured when a tourist bus overturned at Sagargramculvert, about 40 kms from here today.
Jiran Police Station's sub inspector Manish Mishrasaid tourists from Kolkata (West Bengal) were going towardsAjmer (Rajasthan) in this bus when the accident occurred nearSagargram culvert.
Mishra said that the bus overturned after hitting therailing of the culvert.
The deceased has been identified as Gulam Ali, 42, aresident of North 24 Parganas (West Bengal) while 40 otherswere injured, he added.
Most of the injured were admitted in district hospitalat Neemuch while eight of them were referred to Udaipur(Rajasthan), Mishra said.
"On the complaint of a tourist, Shamshad, we haveregistered a case and arrested the driver Dilip. Thecomplainant said that the driver was driving rashly. Seventyone passengers were travelling in this bus," he added.
