New York, Oct 13 (PTI) Harvey Weinstein is beinginvestigated over multiple allegations of sexual assault andharassment.
The New York Police Department is opening a newinvestigation in light of the claims that have been publishedin The New York Times and The New Yorker, reported E! News.
A spokesperson told the website that it is an activeinvestigation and is being investigated by the Special VictimsDivision.
"Based on information referenced in published newsreports, the NYPD is conducting a review to determine if thereare any additional complaints relating to the Harvey Weinsteinmatter," a New York Police Department spokesperson said.
"No filed complaints have been identified as of thistime..."Earlier this week, 13 women came forward with claims inThe New Yorker that the movie producer sexually harassed orassaulted them while three of them have accuse him of rape.
