Mumbai, Oct 13 (PTI) The Reserve Bank of India todayfixed the reference rate of the rupee at 64.9301 against theUS dollar and 76.8772 for the euro.
The corresponding rates were 65.1003 and 77.2741,yesterday.
According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates forthe pound and the yen against the rupee were 86.3051 and 58.01per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for thedollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate, thestatement added. PTI RHBJBH.
