Mumbai, Oct 13 (PTI) Wholesale debt market segment ofthe National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnoverof Rs 1,220.00 crore in 27 trades.
Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were: The 8.19 per cent Government security maturing inCG2020 traded value of Rs 375.00 crore at weighted yield of6.46 per cent, the 5.69 per cent Government security maturingin CG2018 traded value of Rs 100.00 crore at weighted yield of6.13 per cent and the 6.68 per cent Government securitymaturing in CG2031 traded value of Rs 75.00 crore at weightedyield of 7.06 per cent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnoverwas Rs 9,279.81 crore and the total number of trades was 201.
The highest trade volume during the week was atRs 3,398.01 crore as on Oct 10, while the lowest was Rs1,220.00 crore as on today.
This week, the weighted yield on government securitieswith a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years andmore than 10 years quoted at 6.29 per cent, 6.69 per cent,6.81 per cent and 7.24 per cent respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 90days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days was 5.25, 6.17 per cent and6.14 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of governmentsecurities, treasury bills and state government securitiestrading on WDM was Rs 4,474.01 crore, representing 48.21 percent of the total traded value.
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs4,805.80 crore, representing 51.79 per cent, an NSE releasesaid. PTIJBH.
