Mumbai, Oct 13 (PTI) A woman passenger was injured atsuburban Elphinstone Road railway station today when part of atile of a Foot Overbridge (FOB) fell on her on head while shewas entering the premises, an official said.
Incidentally, it was the same FOB, which links theElphinstone Road and Parel railway stations, on whosestaircase 23 people had died in a stampede on September 29.
The passenger, identified only as Anita (38),sustained a minor injury in the incident that occurred ataround 3.40 P.M, a Western Railway official said.
The incident occurred at the booking office end of theFOB.
The woman, a resident of suburban Chembur, wasadmitted in nearby KEM hospital by the on duty GRP and RPFpersonnel, where her condition is stated to be fine. PTI APMNSK.
