Gangtok, Oct 24 (PTI) The Sikkim government today declared November 3 as public holiday to enable the people cast votes on zilla and gram panchayat polls.

All state government offices, educational institutions and public sector offices shall remain closed on November 3 to coincide with polling for zilla and gram panchayats, Additional Chief Secretary S C Gupta said in an official notification.

The polling will take place on November 3 for 500 gram panchayat and 84 zilla panchayat seats. PTI KDK NN .
