Gangtok, Oct 24 (PTI) The Sikkim government todaydeclared November 3 as public holiday to enable the peoplecast votes on zilla and gram panchayat polls.
All state government offices, educational institutionsand public sector offices shall remain closed on November 3 tocoincide with polling for zilla and gram panchayats,Additional Chief Secretary S C Gupta said in an officialnotification.
The polling will take place on November 3 for 500 grampanchayat and 84 zilla panchayat seats. PTI KDKNN.
