TN Under-19 team

Fifteen players have been selected to represent the Tamil Nadu State Under-19 team to play against UPCA in the Elite Group ‘C’ Zone of the Cooch Behar Trophy Tournament, to be held from December 1st to 4th at Lucknow.

Permission granted

In a letter addressed to the Race Director, Wipro Chennai Marathon by CK Valson, Secretary Athletics Federation of India, the Marathon to be held in the city on December has the sanction of AFI. The Tamil Nadu Athletic Association too has granted permission for the run.

“I am pleased to inform you that Chennai Runners Association is granted permission to conduct the Wipro Chennai Marathon at Chennai on 2nd December 2012. All the national athletes are allowed to participate in the above-mentioned Marathon. We don’t have any objection in granting permission,’’ said CK Valson, secretary AFI.
