Tamil Nadu men emerged winners in the inaugural 3 x 3 national basketball championship at the Thyagaraj Stadium in New Delhi on Thursday.
In the final, TN beat Railways (22-20) extra-time after both teams were tied at 20 each at the end of the regulation 10 minutes.
The women’s title went to Indian Railways who beat Delhi 21-12.

PBA Summer Camp
The Professional Basketball Academy and Professional Basketball Ace Club are jointly organising the PBA Basketball summer camp for boys and girls at the Southern Railway basketball ground in Perambur.

Throwball Championship
The 11th Junior State Throwball Championship will be held from April 12 to 14 at the Velammal Vidyalaya in Ayyanambakkam. Both boys and girls teams from all the districts are expected to participate in the event.
The teams will be equally divided into four pools and the preliminary rounds will be conducted in league and two teams from each pool will qualify for the quarterfinals, which will be conducted on a knock-out basis.
Besant Nagar win
In the Sanmar-TNTA veterans +45 league championship, Ranjit Punja and Anand Katare fought hard to give Besant Nagar the all important winning point, beating Selvam and Ravi of Madras Gymkhana in three sets.
