A strong all-round show by Tamil Nadu’s Don Bosco Matriculation HSS helped them register a four-wicket win over Baroda’s Navrachna School Sama on the fourth day of the U-16 Inter-State leg Coca-Cola Cricket Cup.
Brief Scores: Navrachna School Sama, Baroda 174 all out in 44.2 overs (Shlok Desai 55) lost to Don Bosco Matriculation HSS, Tamil Nadu 178 for 6 in 35.5 overs (GK Shyam 54 Daryl Ferrario 44, Uday Krishna 23) by four wickets.
Sailing camp
Tamil Nadu Sailing Association will be conducting its annual summer sailing Camp from the May 13 to 19 at the Chennai Harbour in the city. There would be short theory lessons followed by sessions on water. A fleet of Optimist class boats will be utilized for coaching, conducted by experienced TNSA sailors. The camp will include theory classes along with sailing sessions within the waters of the inner harbour.

Cricket tournament
Chennai St. Bede’s Sports Foundation will conduct its 15th edition of Dicky Memorial inter-camp invitation limited overs cricket tournament in the Under 14 category (cut off date:September 1,1999) and also its 10th edition of Dicky Super Trophy for the Under 16 category (cut off date September 1, 1997) for coaching academies and District cricket associations.
Dicky Memorial Trophy will be conducted from May 6 to 11. 12 teams will be taking part in this tournament, which will be played on a 30 overs a side basis. The semifinals and final will be played on 50 overs a side basis. All the matches will be held at St. Bede’s ‘A’ and ‘B’ grounds. Dicky Super Trophy will be held from April 29 to May 4 at the St. Bede’s Ground.
Table tennis camp
Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu–AKG Table Tennis Development centre will be conducting Gymnco Jussportz summer table tennis coaching camp for children and players in all age groups from May 1 to 20 at ‘Hall of Table Tennis’, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
