CHENNAI: Ronit More’s 5 for 57 helped Karnataka take a lead of 333 runs over Tamil Nadu in the drawn quarterfinal match of the CK Nayudu Trophy U-23 cricket tournament at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. TN were all out for 205 with S Chandrasekar remaining unbeaten on 62. Karnataka were 231 for 2 in 67 overs in their second essay when play ended. D Nischal made an unbeaten 100 (189b, 8x4). Karnataka entered the semifinals by virtue of its first innings lead.

Brief scores: Karnataka 538 and 231 for two in 67 ovs (Abhishek Reddy 53, Shishir Bhavane 67, D Nischal 100 no) drew with Tamil Nadu 205 in 85.2 overs (J Kousik 27, S Chandrashekar 62 no, Ronit More 5-57, Harish Kumar 2/22, J Suchith 2-44).
