BHUBANESWAR:  Keeping their winning momentum going, hosts India edged past lower-ranked Japan 2-1 in the third test to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the four-match series here at Kalinga Stadium Hockey Complex on Thursday. After a barren first quarter, drag-flicker V R Raghunath gave India the lead, converting a penalty corner in the 30th minute and young forward Akashdeep Singh doubled their lead in the 36th minute.
