  • Dhawan is the leading run-getter for India in the Asia Cup 2013-14, aggregating 192 at an average of 48.00, including two fifties.
  • India have won 26 and lost 16 out of 43 ODIs contested at the Asia Cup (NR 1) - success % 61.90
  • Ajinkya Rahane (56 off 66 balls) has recorded his second fifty at the Asia Cup - his fifth in ODIs.
  • Rahane's aforesaid knock is his second fifty as an opener in ODIs.  His career-best 91 against England at Mohali on October 20, 2011 was also as an opener.

  • Ravindra Jadeja (4/30) has recorded his best bowling  figures at the Asia Cup, bettering the 3 for 30 vs Sri Lankaat Fatullah on February 28, 2014.
  • Jadeja has got his ninth Man of the Match award in ODIs.
  • Samiullah Shenwari (50 off 73 balls) has registered his fifth fifty in ODIs.
  • The aforesaid knock is his second fifty at the Asia Cup - the highest being 81 against Bangladesh at Fatullah on March 1, 2014.
  • Shenwari became the second number eight batsman to post a fifty at the Asia Cup - the first being Mohammad Tauqir (UAE) - 55 vs India at Dambulla on July 16, 2004.
  • Shenwari hastotalled 151 runs at an average of 37.75, including two fifties, in four innings at the Asia Cup.
  • Asghar Stanikzai, with 162 runs at an average of 54.00 in four matches, is the leading run-getter for Afghanistan at the Asia Cup.
  • Ravichandran Ashwin (3/31) has produced his best bowling figures at the Asia Cup, surpassing the 3 for 39 vs Sri Lanka at Dhaka on March 13, 2012.
  • Ashwin's above figures are his best overseas, eclipsing  the 3 for 32 vs Sri Lanka at Perth on February 8, 2012.
  • The two leading Indian wickettakers in the Asia Cup 2014 are - Ravichandran Ashwin (9 at 18.55) and Mohammed Shami (9 at 25.55).
