Tamil Nadu high on Sai seven against Saurashtra

Left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore’s penetrative 7/99 enabled Tamil Nadu to bag a lead of 168 runs against Saurashtra.

CHENNAI: Left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore’s penetrative 7/99 enabled Tamil Nadu to bag a lead of 168 runs against Saurashtra on the third day of their CK Nayudu Trophy U-23 Elite Group A match at the NPR College Ground in Natham on Wednesday.


Skipper Divyaraj Chauhan (58) and Samarth Vyas  (59) were the only ones who could negotiate the Sai Kishore’s guile.


Interestingly, all of Saurashtra’s first-innings dismissals were via catches. Following on, they were 41/1 in 19 overs at stumps.
