New TNGO chief vows to fight for Telangana

Telangana non-gazetted officers will continue to play a key role in the T-movement and at the same time, fight for acceptance of employee demands which include constitution of the 10th pay revision commission (PRC), newly-elected Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association president G Devi Prasad Rao has declared.

In the TNGOs’ organisational elections held here recently, Devi Prasad Rao was elected president unanimously. Association president K Swami Goud retired from government service on Tuesday and Devi Prasad Rao will be in service till May 31, 2014.

Swami Goud thanked the TNGOs for supporting the agitations launched in the last few years all over the region. He hoped that the newly-elected president and general secretary would play their part in the Telangana movement.
