The body of Raghunadhapuram Gowtham Krishna who died in the Tamil Nadu Express fire, was brought to his house here on Tuesday night. Gowtham who was going to Bengaluru, boarded the ill-fated Tamil Nadu Express along with his three friends at Vijayawada railway station. His friends Naveen, Bharat and Hareesh, who travelled in the same compartment, managed to escape from the jaws of death.
His father Sai Krishna who worked as a guard in the railways, retired a few months ago. Gowtham’s friends and relatives visited his house at Seetharampuram on Wednesday to see his mortal remains.
