Tension prevailed on the Osmania University campus after the police prevented Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists from venturing out of the campus to stage a protest demanding the immediate release of students who were arrested for barging into the CM's camp office on Friday.

The student organisation also called for a bandh of all educational institutions across the state on Monday, to urge the government not to cap the fee reimbursement scheme.

Police prevented them from going out of the campus.
