Two washed away in rivulet

Two students were washed away in Yenugugadda while they were crossing the rivulet near Gottumukkala village in Kanchikacherla mandal of Krishna district on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Pasam Suresh (16) and Purama Surendra (16) of Kanchikacherla.

Uppu Ashok Kumar along with his six friends used to visit Moddulammathalli temple located on the other side of the rivulet every Sunday. They left their homes this morning to visit the temple. While the boys were crossing the rivulet with their bicycles, the bicycle of Suresh and Surendra was swept away due to strong water current. The two boys who went to get their bicycle, were also washed away.

Ashok Kumar, Tupakula Siva Kumar, Palepu Satish, Tumma Venkata Ramana and Kanche Satyanarayanareached the shore safely.
